Leadership Coaching

My leadership coaching approach is deeply influenced by Peter Hawkins, the originator of the renowned LEARN model. This framework guides my coaching process through a structured approach that involves listening deeply, exploring options, assessing potential, realizing goals, and nurturing ongoing growth.

While adapted to suit the unique needs of each individual, my coaching methodology emphasizes a collaborative and strengths-based approach, focusing on identifying and amplifying clients' innate talents and leadership potential.

Keynote Speaking

My keynote messages are authentic and deeply rooted in my lived experiences working on the ground with grassroots organizations. This firsthand experience enables me to connect with audiences on a profound level, addressing their concerns and aspirations with empathy and understanding. Drawing upon brain-based research that emphasizes the power of storytelling and emotional connection to drive meaningful change, I engage audiences on a level that makes my keynotes real, impactful, and memorable. I have delivered speeches for schools, community events, churches, and have been honored to speak at numerous MLK Day, Women's History Month, and Black History Month celebrations.

Professional Development

Guided by my research on the use of professional development to increase cultural competence, I design and facilitate impactful learning experiences that help leaders translate their intentions into meaningful and sustainable impact. My sessions have focused on increasing team capital, leveraging Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), and building inclusive workplaces, always employing a human-centered design approach. This involves actively listening to the needs and perspectives of participants, co-creating solutions with them, and prioritizing their voices throughout the process. To enhance learning retention, I emphasize reflective practices and have created two companion journals: one for educators and one for BIPOC business leaders, to support ongoing professional growth and development.
